JEFF OSTROWSKI was chosen to be President of Watershed by the board of directors in 2011. He holds his B.M. in Music Theory from the University of Kansas (2004), where he also did graduate work in Musicology. He serves as choirmaster for the new FSSP parish in Los Angeles and lives in that city with his wife and two children.
VERONICA BRANDT holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. As editor, she has produced fine publications (as well as valuable reprints) dealing with Gregorian chant, hymnody, Latin, and other subjects. These publications are distinguished on account of their tastefulness. She lives in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia, with her husband Peter and five children.
DR. ALFRED CALABRESE is a conductor, educator, composer, scholar, and church musician. Having worked in academia for two decades, he felt called to enter full-time work in the Catholic Church, and since 2007 has directed the music at Saint Rita Catholic Church. He and his wife live in Dallas, TX. They have two grown children.
RICHARD CLARK has served since 1989 as Music Director and Organist at Saint Cecilia Church in Boston, Massachusetts. He is also Chapel Organist (Saint Mary’s Chapel) at Boston College. For the Archdiocese of Boston, he directed the Office of Divine Worship Saint Cecilia Schola. His compositions have been performed on four continents.
FR. DAVID FRIEL studied Theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, and currently serves as Parochial Vicar of Saint Anselm Parish (Philadelphia, PA). He was ordained to the Catholic Priesthood in May of 2011.
ANDREW LEUNG is a seminarian for the Diocese of Steubenville, Ohio. Before moving to Ohio, he was the Director of Music at St. Pius X Catholic Church (Atlanta) and taught Gregorian chant at the Cistercian Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia.
VERONICA MORENO is married to a teacher and homeschools five children. While at UCLA, she earned an undergraduate degree in Ethnomusicology and then went on to study special education at Cal State LA. She has been cantor at her local Catholic parish for over a decade.
ANDREW MOTYKA is the Archdiocesan Director of Liturgical Music and Cathedral Music for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He holds a Master of Music in Sacred Music from Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at The Catholic University of America, and lives with his wife and children in Indiana.
CHRISTOPHER MUELLER is a church musician, conductor, and composer. He aims to write beautiful music out of gratitude to God, the Author of all beauty. He lives with his wife and children in rural New England.
CYNTHIA OSTROWSKI holds a bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science and a minor in Computer Science from Texas A&M University (2005). She is currently a stay-at-home mother of two children. A former GIS analyst, Cynthia’s interests include photography, french horn, and singing polyphony.
DR. LUCAS TAPPAN is a conductor and organist whose specialty is working with children. He earned his Master of Music (organ performance) in 2009 from the University of Kansas and in 2014 was granted a Doctorate (choral conducting) from the same institution. He lives in Kansas with his wife and two sons.
