Does this sound like a “hymn” to you? Or does it sound like a “chant” composition?
Certainly the only “Eucharistic” hymn to Saint Joseph I know!
English has words whose meanings directly contradict each other (such as “cleave” or “sanction”).
I’m someone who harbors an irrational fear of anything I’m not familiar with.
I personally find the following pairings (hymn text + hymn melody) to be reprehensible…

Do what’s right, say your prayers, offer each day to Jesus Christ, and hold your head high!
This hymn was originally for the Assumption, but now can be used on various Marian feasts.
