ARLIER this month, we released a booklet intended to help facilitate greater participation in Baptisms celebrated in the Extraordinary Form. That booklet places the Latin texts of the rite side-by-side with an English translation. For families who request an EF Baptism for their child, this is an invaluable aid that can be freely printed and distributed to family members and friends who attend.
We are now pleased to release another important resource: a participation booklet for Extraordinary Form Baptisms featuring the Latin ritual texts side-by-side with a Spanish translation. Este recursu es una guía de participatión para Bautismos en la Forma Extraordinaria del Rito Romano.
A second version of the booklet is available here; the content of both versions is identical, but the second version is formatted for “one up” printing.
For the Latin-English versions of this booklet, see our previous post.
HESE resources are being offered here courtesy of Very Rev. Bryan W. Jerabek, JCL, rector of the cathedral of the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama (also available from his blog). He has kindly granted permission for these booklets to be reproduced and disseminated freely.
