Video • Ratzinger made a Cardinal by Paul VI

OHN PAUL SONNEN recently posted a video of Cardinal Ratzinger’s episcopal consecration, which also shows snippets of him receiving a red hat from Pope Paul VI:


It’s quite beautiful.

One quibble: I’d prefer a different harmonization of Holy God We Praise Thy Name, one which uses more secondary dominants. For the record, the harmonization by Ted Marier is (in my humble opinion) excellent and not difficult to play.
