“How can we enter into this interior disposition except by turning physically—all together, priest and faithful—toward the Lord who comes, toward the East symbolized by the apse where the cross is enthroned? The outward orientation leads us to the interior orientation that it symbolizes. Since apostolic times, Christians have been familiar with this way of praying. It is not a matter of celebrating with one’s back to the people or facing them, but toward the East, «ad Dominum», toward the Lord.”
— Robert Cardinal Sarah, Prefect of the Vatican's Congregation for Divine Worship (October 2016)

Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him, sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works! —Psalm 105:1-2

Dr. Ronda’s Example: the beauty I love most in creation is the ocean, the faces of beloved people, music and trees …of supernatural beauty I love God, and Jesus, Mary, and the saints (specific pictures of them as well) and Holy Mass.

Your Victory of Love in Gratitude for Beauty:

Prayer: Father God, creator for all beauty, I am so grateful for it, yet I allow the busyness caused by the desire to do my work (apostolates all) that I do not enjoy all the beauty You want for me. May the Holy Spirit open my eyes and heart to all the beauty You want to use to cheer and exalt my spirits.
