About this blogger:
"Father Isaac Jogues was truly a martyr before God, rendering witness to Heaven and earth that he valued the Faith and the propagation of the gospel more highly than his own life, and losing it in the dangers into which, with full consciousness, he cast himself for Jesus Christ…" — Fr. Jerome Lalemant (writing in 1647)

Using the shoddiest, sleaziest material we have for the purpose of glorifying God is not very sound theology or even very good common sense. […] (In general, when you see a diminished seventh chord in a hymn, run.) And these chords are usually used in bad hymns in precisely the same order in which they occur in “Sweet Adeline.”

A Warm Welcome to Dr. Ronda Chervin!
published 16 February 2011 by Corpus Christi Watershed

Corpus Christi Watershed welcomes Dr. Ronda Chervin, who will be sharing her daily thoughts and reflections (by means of blog entries) on our website. Here is a message from Dr. Ronda:

I am delighted to be part of the Watershed Corpus Christi website as a new blogger. Many years ago I was part of the group that thought of this idea.

Every day I get ideas I would love to share with kindred souls. I hope you will think these come from the Holy Spirit with the least admixture of error of any kind. We shall see. If you wish to add comments I will glance at them, but there is no way I can respond if I want to keep my full-time teaching job and complete my many projects. However, if you go to my personal website, rondachervin.com, and want to write to me about some specific ideas on the audios and free e-books, or about in print books listed there, I will try to answer you as soon as possible. Let us pray for one another.

Please read a Dr. Ronda’s biography. For books, audio, DVD’s, and more, please visit rondachervin.com.
